Who organizes LFM?

Hi! We are Peter and Margo Wanberg (and Nora, Oliver, Owen, and our pup Millie), and we are the organizers of Lafayette Farmers Market. We dove into the farmers market world after years of owning a coffee roasting company (Peter) and a beekeeping company (Margo). We met a lot of incredible vendors during our small business journeys and worked a lot of farmers markets. Through our experiences, we fell in love with the the incredibly passionate and hard working farmers, ranchers, bakers, chefs, and small business owners that make up the markets. We wanted to be a part of their flourishing, to be advocates for their growth journey, and to help connect them to customers. And we saw a lot of room to help organize, champion, and tell vendor stories with an organization like a farmers market. In 2021 we had the opportunity to open the City Park Farmers Market in Denver, and our lives were irrevocably changed for the better. In 2025 we took another leap and opened a new market in Lafayette, Colorado where we now live. We are excited to be in this for the long-haul, and we’re grateful we get to do it right here where we live.
